However, this ecological raw material is also commonly used for interior finishing in the form of floor underlays and wall cork.

For this purpose, we recommend a cork underlayment with a thickness of 2 to 10 mm, which we sell in rolls. This type of underlay is installed under panels, tiles, parquet and directly under the carpet. This is an optimal solution that ensures a pleasant atmosphere in a given interior, makes it quieter and makes the floor pleasant to the touch even on frosty days.

Expanded cork in thermal insulation

Expanded cork is a thermal insulating material obtained by heating and expanding cork, i.e. the bark of a cork oak. This process creates a light, porous material that is an effective thermal insulator.
